I woke up early and got ready for today’s wedding. But this wedding the whole family got to go to as it was for our own family. We left Woodinville and headed to Camano Island.
That’s where the Wedding day started for us. My little girl was one of the flower girls. And her Aunt was getting married. So of course she had to help get auntie ready. The ladies got ready and I took a few shots.
Then us guys went to Camas park to get the hall ready. The grooms side of the family was already working hard. We finished setting up the tables and chairs. Then setout the lanterns and flowers. But then the hard part came. How do you fold a napkin to make it stand up? Smart phone to the rescue. After a few tries we found one we liked so we setout to fold the 140 napkins we had. The we all left to get ready for the event.
The ladies were all set by the time we got back for the most part. We talked awhile then we all got into the various cars and headed back to the lodge. Parking was a bit of a trick but we found a spot and they I unload the gear and family.
Off I went to take photos of the Happy couple down by the waterfront. They both looked great and had a little time alone. Well kind of since some girls down by the beach thought the bride was the coolest thing ever.
Back up to the lodge to get ready for the big event. The room was now packed and friends and family all around. The sun was going down and the harpist was getting everyone into the mood.
Paster Mike and Ried up front then the rest of the wedding party came up to the front. The three flowers girls did a great job. And the two ring boys did good too. Then Amy and her dad came down the isle. The vows are said and the kiss given and the happy couple got announced and the party got started.
Lemonade, water, wine, were served with the appetizers. Then we had the meal and heard the Best man and the Maid of honor tell stories of the couple.
The happy fellowship followed. As the night went on there was a little dancing and lots of conversation into the night. Dinner and then cupcakes followed.
Soon we had packed up and left. Passing Rieds now toilet papered covered truck.
I spent most of the taking photos but I was photographed too. A nice one of the family at the end of the day.
